Ana + Kevin // Vineyard Engagement
Woah. I mean... these two not only have a whole lot of chemistry going on, but they also shocked me with some news a few weeks before this shoot. Ana and Kevin's story is so special to me. This couple booked me in the summer time for their wedding the following year in the fall. A few weeks later Ana emailed me and asked if I was available last minute for a shoot. I wasn't, unfortunately. I had been completely booked up for the year. But I had to ask why...? We already had their engagement session on the calendar for next month. Well, turns out they were going to get married early! Like next week.
Why? Who does that?? <-- what you are probably thinking.
I had to ask. Curious if they still wanted me for their wedding next year!
The reason: to honor God.
I'm so impressed with that. It's not easy to change your plans (like really really big plans) to choose to honor God. This could have easily disappointed people or family. But they chose Him. I was stunned. I'm so impressed with that. I am so encouraged by it. Needless to say, in these photos they are already married. :) How awesome! By the way, I'm still shooting their "big" wedding next fall. It's going to be epic.
