From Tia's smile in the morning getting ready (and she wore it all day long) to their first dance. These two have the sweetest love. Cody was smitten with his bride, and could not take his eyes off of her the entire day. The air was chilly, the fire was cozy and these sweethearts were more in love than ever before.

Mary and Kevin are kind, compassionate and beautiful people. See their love. Witness with me, the beautiful landscape God had created.

The rest of the day was filled with moments just like that--perfect and beautiful.” -Melinda

I had Colt write out his proposal story so y'all can get all of the lovey-dovey, sweet-surprising vibes we got when this all went down.
"It was a plan that had been set in motion a few weeks in advance. We would be in Colorado with my sister-in-law who just so happens to be a wedding photographer, what are the odds right? So we went out on a morning hike on Friday to the Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado. After taking Clay and Rachel's pictures as a cover up, Rach asked if Em and I wanted some pictures together. My response was, 'Yeah!' but Em's was, 'Maybe later.' She hadn't been feeling well that morning so after anxiously walking barely five minutes, Rach offers again and Em begrudgingly accepts.
So at the foot of the mountain I got down on one knee as Rachel captured every sweet moment. Emily truly did not see it coming. Her first words when I went to one knee were, 'What are you doing?' But once she figured it out both of our eyes welled up with tears. I told her how much she meant to me and how I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. After asking for her hand in marriage she, without hesitation, said 'Yes!'. I've never seen so much joy in a person's eyes as I slid the ring onto her finger and the only day that will top it is the day we can finally say 'I Do'.

Read Morethese two cuties invited me and my little family out to their lake home in eustis, nebraska on a late september weekend. needless to say we (Clay, I and the kids) traveled out to wide open country, so I could take their engagements. we loved seeing the rolling hills of rural nebraska. I just have to say thank you to weston and julia and your families for hosting us! YOU'RE THE BEST!
nothing is better than love and making relationships that last. honestly, that's all this "job" is about.

"Mrs. Harding,
I can't believe today has finally arrived. I have been waiting my whole life to see you walk down that aisle. Today is the day we get to start our life story together. I can't wait to share all the laughs, smiles, and good times that are ahead. You are my angel and the love of my life. I love you to bits and couldn't be more proud to be by your side.

Meeting up after coffee x breakfast burritos is my kind of morning //
BIG SUR, CALIFORNIA
It was mid-morning, where the light was still warm. But not too early, just right actually. This little mini session was the perfect amount of time. It was kind of fun, because we weren't entirely sure where we'd shoot at, because we were both traveling for this shoot. Tiana wanted photos next to these giant trees, and after hiking back behind a resort (and not the resort we stayed at, whoops), we found this little camping area!

I had longed to marry my high school sweetheart for five years and I almost couldn’t believe that it was finally happening. Being so close to the day that I would commit my life to Leah brought such intense anticipation! I don’t normally cry, in sadness or in joy, but multiple times I found myself tearing up as I thought about how lucky I was to marry the woman of my dreams. One of the moments that I’ll never forget was taking communion together after we had said our vows to one another. The connection that I felt to Leah as we held one another and spent time in prayer through tears is indescribable. The graciousness of God to bring us together as husband and wife and to allow us to mirror what He has done for us will always be one of the greatest sources of joy for me as I look back on that day and as we continue our lives together. Most of the rest of the day was a blur, but it was moments like those that made all the stress of planning and all the years of waiting worth it. I always trusted that my wedding day would be one of the greatest days of my life and without question; it was!" -Reis
